Just as I was about to post this, someone mentioned Kimbra to me on facebook. I agree!!! This  track is nuts for a pop song. It changes beat four times from verse to chorus and the chord progressions are so serious.  I’d like to say I wish all pop music could sound like this but then this wouldn’t  be so special now would it?

I’m in bed chest congested, writing, and  searchin through crap on the net and I came across this. MAAAANNN wwooooo weeee!!!  this boy Andre stay fly yo !! What brotha you know is  the most sought after on the raps   and  wears equestrian  horse riding boots in a Gillette commercial ?  I really liked his definition of style. I’d tear a leaf out yo book Dre If  I wasn’t twice your size… lol   I’m gonna go ahead and tear that leaf out anyways…

While in the kitchen cooking and trying to find other ways to pacify the immense brain activity careening through my thought channel last night, I came across this Ted talk on Listening.  The Art of it, how we are loosing the ability to do so in it’s purist and highest form and what we can do to reattain, recalibrate and maintain that ability. This is important not just for musicians and fellow  artists to hear but, for everyone on planet period.  One of the true keys to achieving harmony… music and otherwise
